Taking A Stand
By jodi - 9/2/2008 Most people today will make their decisions about what they are going to do in life by the peer pressure that is exerted upon them. Or a politician will watch the daily tracking polls to make their decisions.

Foul Language
By jodi - 8/17/2008 We are like a sponge: when the squeeze is put upon us, what's in the sponge will come out. If we are full of Jesus and the devil brings pressure on us, Jesus will come out. Tragically that is not always the case.

Earning Wages
By jodi - 8/17/2008 When we go to our jobs, usually on Monday morning, we will work all week expecting to be paid on the weekends. It is like being in a contract with your employer. If you do what I require, I will pay you.

The Sword of the Spirit
By jodi - 7/28/2008 The word is full of armies. Every country has one. The main intent of any army is to battle an enemy if need be. Most countries remain in a defensive posture, but on occasion , one country will go astray and attack another. The one being attacked must be prepared. No army in the world would ever send men and women into combat without giving them weapons.

Consider Joseph
By jodi - 7/13/2008 Joseph was a highly favored Son of Jacob. The Lord had blessed Joseph as a teenager with dreams about his future. His family did not appreciate this young visionary and his message. Then one day they sold him into slavery.

The Blood of Jesus
By dion - 7/7/2008 If we write a letter or a post card to someone, a price must be paid to have it delivered. Postage for a letter today costs .42 cent. Without a stamp the letter will return to the sender. In the same way, when we direct our prayers toward heaven, a price must be paid to get our prayers through. It is the precious blood of Jesus. Which is more valuable than a postage stamp.

Blessing is not always a sign of approval.
By GraceAdmin - 7/1/2008 All of us seek after blessings, and God is so good, that He always wants to be a God that is more than enough. "He causes the sun to rise on the just and the unjust." "He causes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust." So, what does all this mean? Simply put, He can be a blessing to us all and be grieved at the same time. It is sad for people to reach out for all the good things He will give and then turn around and break His heart. God has emotions to!
